As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, Alyx accepts new clients looking for financial guidance and can also offer support with obtaining life and health (disability/critical illness/health and dental) insurance.
After graduating from Ottawa’s Carleton University, Alyx lived in England and Japan before returning to beautiful Victoria where she studied at UVic, pursued her professional designations and started her career.
Alyx, her husband, and two young children enjoy exploring their neighbourhood water park and Willows beach. Alyx plays Ultimate Frisbee all year long and lawn bowls in the summer.

Alexandra (Alyx) Valdal

Alyx has been the secretary of the Vancouver Island chapter of Advocis – the financial Advisors Association of Canada – and holds her CFP certification via FP Canada. She has also served on the board of directors for Wear2Start, was nominated for a 2013 Victoria Leadership award, and was a member of the Oak Bay Rotary Club. Alyx is passionate about financial literacy; she has volunteered with BC’s Junior Achievement and taught at Camosun College.
